Zenith Consulting was established in 1996 to meet the demand for high level advice on investment in and business development of telecommunications businesses, in the Asia Pacific region.

Founder and principal of Zenith Consulting, Peter Clifton, has over 28 years experience in the telecommunications industry, including key operational and strategic management roles at an executive level as well as high level consulting. For ten years Peter had responsibility within Telstra for business in South Asia, Middle East and Europe. In this role he established and managed businesses in the United Kingdom, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and India. He is a past Director of Telecom Australia (Saudi) Ltd, OTC Australia Ltd (Sri Lanka), Indian Telecom Limited and past Chairman of UNI-Net sp.zo.o (Poland).

His current Board commitments include:

Director of Amcom Telecommunications Limited, a company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
Director of Zenith Consulting Pty Ltd.
Member of the Senate of the University of Western Australia.

Mr Clifton holds Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Western Australia, is a Member of the Institution of Engineers Australia, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Member of the Telecom Society of Australia.
